Paul Burrell, the late Princess Diana’s butler, will speak March 16, 2003 at Starkey International’s fourth annual Restoring the Art conference in Denver, Colorado. Burrell plans to have a “A Heart to Heart with My Peers” when he takes the podium in front of 200 professional butlers and household managers.
Burrell came to media attention late last year when Queen Elizabeth II intervened on Mr. Burrell’s behalf during his trial at the Old Bailey. He was acquitted of the theft of more than 300 of the late Princess’ personal belongings. Before his arrest, Mr. Burrell published an entertaining book, In the Royal Manner, and was awarded the Royal Victorian Medal by the Queen for his 21 years of service to the royal family.
The Restoring the Art Conference for Private Service Professionals will take place March 14 –16, 2003. The conference showcases current luxury trends, etiquette instruction, private management tools, and professional resources that may create the quality of life for the butler’s employers.

Olathe, KS January 31 2004 - Butler National Corporation (OTCBB – "BUKS") announces Kalitta Charters selected AVCON Industries, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Butler National Corporation, to provide the turn-key RVSM solution for its fleet of 12 Learjet 20 series aircraft. Kalitta selected AVCON’s solution based on the high quality of installation and the long-standing business relationship between Kalitta and AVCON. Once installed, the aircraft will meet the future federal aviation administration equipment requirements necessary to fly at altitudes above 29,000 feet.
Kalitta has scheduled retrofit slots to complete airplane fleet compliance by December of 2004. AVCON currently has slots available through November, 2004. “In the next 60 days, we expect our current facilities will be scheduled full through the better part of the year. We are offering a price incentive at $156,975 to receive commitments before February 15, 2004. We expect the price to increase as we get closer to the mandatory compliance deadline,” commented Larry Franke, President of AVCON.
Domestic RVSM establishes six additional flight levels for airplane operations between 29,000 and 41,000 feet. Implementation reportedly enhances aircraft operating efficiency by making more fuel/time efficient flight levels available. RVSM also enhances air traffic control flexibility and enroute airspace capacity.
Avcon’s RVSM turn-key solution generally requires 10 to 14 days downtime for structural and electrical modifications to replace the existing pitot and static system. The installation features the addition of two IS&S RVSM altimeters that include altitude alerting functions, and a third, completely-redundant standby altimeter system. Avcon also installs an autopilot interface unit and Rosemount pitot/static probes. L-3 Communications (formerly JET) performs an inspection and overhaul to the FC-110 autopilot system.

Though most themes focus on the crime of murder, some games involve theft and kidnapping. These games provide a clean, fun and safe environment for teen age parties.
These games are designed for home or office parties and involves lots of player participation – pantomime, quizzes, anagrams, and dance contests (depending on the theme).
Each BUTLER game contains 16 character descriptions, 8 of which are the "main suspects". Only the host(s) knows the identity of the main suspects but can play along as the solution is sealed. The invitations will include a description of the crime and the characters but will not indicate who the main suspects are….this is revealed on party night by the host(s).
Jane Ford, of Farmington, Maine, decided to turn her hobby into a fun-filled business six years ago when, after many years of hosting successful parties for her friends and family. Leaving her urban New Jersey lifestyle for rural Maine meant leaving many friends behind. As a goodbye gift Jane received a boxed mystery game and decided that throwing a party would be a great way to make new friends in her new surroundings. She invited her neighbors over to solve “the crime”. Jane said a great time was had by all, but she felt that the game lacked humor and player participation. After the solution was read, she started to elaborate on the storyline and created other characters that she felt would have been funnier and more interesting. Her guests could not stop laughing, and, “The Butler Didn’t Do It!” was born.
Today Jane has been successful in selling her series of mystery games online, at www.murdermysteryparty.com . Jane’s original group of party players has grown from eight into a houseful. The parties give her guests an opportunity to let their creative juices flow. Everyone loves to portray another personality and to let lose and forget reality for an evening. It’s a fantastic way to relieve stress especially during these trying times.
Some comments from customers…..
Robert from New York, NY has said “We just love your games, but we have one major problem, we have played every one of them, so keep writing new ones”.
Jane has now expanded her storylines and has written games especially for teens and will be adding versions for younger children that will focus on mystery rather than a crime.
